Homework
At Drighlington Primary School we believe that home learning should focus on the key skills that children need to access their learning at school. We therefore ask families to focus on the following key skills:
- Reading
- Spelling
- Times-tables

Family Challenges
We also set regular 'Family Challenges' which are more open ended projects for children to do at home with members of their family - this may be siblings working together or involve more extended family members - the more the merrier! This year in Autumn 1 we asked families to design a parachute as part of a science challenge.
Here are our winners testing out their parachute designs. They used a range of different materials and sizes of materials to make their parachutes.
